Argus Plan Views
Plan views (or section views or photo views) indicate the location
of sensors at the site, their current readings, and their alarm
status. Plan views are created from site drawings or photographs
and have an overlay of data boxes, each indicating the location
of a sensor and its current reading. The color of a data box changes
from green to yellow to red to indicate its alarm status.

Plan views are refreshed automatically, so the data boxes always
show the most recent readings and the current alarm conditions.
The graphical portion of the plan view stays in the browser's
cache, making refreshes very fast. Clicking on a measurement
value within the box displays a trend plot. This is particularly
useful if the box shows an alarm condition, since the user can
quickly evaluate whether the alarm condition is the result of
a trend or just a one-time event.
